MP3 Quiz is a customizable music game which takes MP3 music files from a computer and creates a random quiz by making a playing list of fragments of the songs and asking questions about the artists accordingly to the tag information. The players take turns in guessing, plus special sound effects can be added to increase the game difficulty level.
It’s a fun game for parties, easy to setup all it requires is a bunch of MP3 songs and the desire to have fun. It starts by asking the number of players and its names, and then choose the number of questions per player.
The program scans the selected folder with the songs and takes in account any options set (such as special music effects to disguise the song) to make the quiz based on the artist information to generate the playing fragments.
Points are awarded for guessing correctly either artist or title, but extra points are granted if the playing music has effects (echo, reverse, etc.) that make it difficult to identify. In addition extra bonus points will be handed if three songs in a row are guessed correctly.
